In producing a specific Makers and Making seminar and toolkit, and explicitly including craft in other areas of the Making Connections programme, engage and the Crafts Council aim to enhance continuing professional development for craft makers and other craft professionals, raise awareness of the application of contemporary craft in museum and gallery education, and broaden the audience for contemporary craft as a whole.
engage is committed to the professional development of gallery education and other professional colleagues in the visual arts, galleries, and education.
