Bridging the Gap - an Intergenerational Working training day
10 Dec RAF Museum, Cosford. 10am - 3pm
Combining practical activity and exploratory discussion, this session is intended for :
Staff from organisations who have received or are planning to bid for Their Past Your Future funding; Audience development, outreach and community development officers; Education officers or Volunteer managers seeking to build on existing activity.
The session is funded by BLF Their Past Your Future.

Celebrate Adult Learners Week – Nominate for an Award!
The awards for Adult Learners’ Week (9th – 15th May 2009) illustrate the extraordinary achievements, of adult learners – young, old and in all their diversity.
MLA West Midlands will once again be sponsering an Award.
Last years Winners:
Shelly Whitney, a regional Adult Learners’ Week Award winner 2008, nominated by Nigel Spicer, Wedgwood Museum, said on learning that she had won an award: “Everything I’ve learned here, all my experience and everything I’ve done has helped me to realise that I am not a quest in my own life, but that I can and will make it what I want it to be. That is what learning means to me.” The Bilston Art 4 Health Group on winning their award said “that they just fell in love with their local gallery ….. we now have a home that inspires them”.
