MLA West Midlands supports three single domain bodies: the museums, libraries and archives forums. The Forums stand autonomously from the agency and a Lead Officer from MLA West Midlands attends these meetings. The announcements posted on the Forum are also dublicated at Writology.com. Each domain nominates one representive to the MLA West Midlands Board.

The Forums ensure that MLA West Midlands is in touch with domain priorities and that these influence the business planning process. They act as a forum for Board members to report back to the wider domain community. The Forums encourage cross-sector working and the sharing of good practice.
