This follows on from a survey of museums and galleries conducted in 2001.  This survey was intended to give a clearer picture of the range of ICT provision within the sector and therefore to create baseline information.  Survey results will help to inform national policy over the next three years and from a regional perspective data gathered will in part form the basis for the development of strategic ICT initiatives within the West Midlands.
