* * ARTS LOTTERY RUN BY ARTS COUNCIL ENGLAND

Unified England-wide “Grants for the Arts” programme for organisations and national touring aimed at investing in the arts:

  • to change people’s lives through opportunity to take part in or experience high quality arts activities
    to increase opportunities for cultural diversity in the arts
  • to support excellence, new ideas and activity to help build long-term stability in arts organisations
    to invest in the creative talent of artists and individuals
  • to increase resources for the arts

Relates to all art forms (visual, performing, reading) and therefore relates to all three domains.  (Museums, Libraries and Archives)

Not funding organisation but network of funding contacts and list of funders based in Wales with an office in Birmingham – relevance to Cultural Diversity (Museums, Libraries and Archives)
* * BERTELSMANN FOUNDATION
Based in Germany, the foundation initiates projects in the areas of economy, government & administration, media, politics, public libraries, cultural services & HE (Libraries)
